bringing stand-up comedy to the local community & building a community for local comedians.

MoonCat Comedy Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in July 2015 as a comedy open mic in a hot, unventilated garage in Milton Delaware. 

At the time, as the only stand-up comedy open mic on the entire Delmarva Peninsula, MoonCat dedicated its mission to bring opportunities for both local comedians to perform comedy and local audiences to access stand-up comedy.

Since then, MoonCat Comedy Club produced 200+ shows all across Delmarva, including “The Longest Running Comedy Open Mic On the Delmarva Peninsula” as well as the “Who is the Funniest Person on Delmarva?” contest, featuring 300+ local & professional comedians from across the county, region, & nation helping to establish what is now a flourishing Delmarva stand-up comedy scene.
